Remembering LKY

He was a very good role model to us all. And he more then kept his promise to singapore.

Remembering Mr LKY

Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew

I feel that this was his greatest contribution as it shows how Mr Lee Kuan Yew had helped Singapore's economy which lead to better education and a sustainable economy with the love for the country and the people. This contribution has shaped Singapore and created a bright future for the people.

Remembering LKY

I agree with Mr S. R. Nathan as Mr Lee Kuan Yew started by helping us lay the building blocks. Throughout the 50 years, Mr Lee stacked more and more blocks which made today's Singapore.
We will continue Mr Lee's legacy and continue what he started.

Although Mr Lee Kuan Yew might have passed on, but knowing that the Singapore flag will remind people of him i believe thats like living every SG50.

Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew

This portrait of Mr Lee Kuan Yew is made up of writing "Mr Lee Kuan Yew" numerous times and I think it also shows the perseverance the student had to draw this as a tribute, just like how Mr Lee Kuan Yew persevered and dedicated his entire life to develop Singapore and secure our future. May him rest in peace.

Remembering LKY

I admire what Mr LKY has done for our country and his perseverance to continue serving our country. He was far sighted and gave his entire life just to make our country developed and on par as all the other developed countries.
I think that this is very meaningful as without him, we wouldn't be where we are right now. He is responsible for making Singapore a developed country and well-known internationally. I'm sure his contributions will still be remembered even after decades after his passing

Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew

We should be courageous to face the problems that we should face.

Though this tribute may seem short. It is very true about Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Being a man of action, he lead the country by example. The most effective leaders aren't afraid to get hands-on to start the ball rolling, rather than pointing a finger from behind his desk.

Remembering Lee Kuan Yew

I admire his courage and resilience to fight for what he thought was right. He never look back on the things he had done for he feels that what he done was right. A great role model for our fellow Singaporeans.

Remembering Mr LKY - Adli

Even though the above picture does not speak about Mr Lee's contributions in Singapore, but it reminded us about his characteristics- dedication and perseverance. Regarding the picture above, the student spent several hours writing "Lee Kuan Yew" over a period of 18 hours, just to complete the drawing above. This shows that as long as we are dedicated and persevered to do something, we can accomplish it, same as how Mr Lee brought up the nation.
I chose this tribute as I think this was his greatest achievement. If not for him, race riots would still be around and we wouldn't feel safe in Singapore

Remembering Lee Kuan Yew

It reminds us that life was not so easy for Mr Lee but still, he persevered and was willing to change the old Singapore to the Singapore we live in now. My he rest in peace.

Remembering Lee Kuan Yew

I chose this slide because I felt that Margret Thatcher was sincere when she said this, when they were both still alive and not just a statement to the deceased. I agree that Mr Lee was a very visionary and dedicated to this country

Remembering LKY -Joshua

The red box showed how dedicated he was to Singapore, despite being in hospital he still asked for the red box and continued to improve Singapore. The red box carried a wide range of items. It could be communications with foreign leaders, observations about the financial crisis, instructions for the Istana grounds staff, or even questions about some trees he had seen on the expressway. Mr Lee was well-known for keeping extremely alert to everything he saw and heard around him, when he noticed something wrong, like an ailing raintree, a note in the red box would follow. He was extremely dedicated to his work and continued to improve Singapore no matter where he was. He turned Singapore into a garden city, and a economic hub.

Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew

This contribution is most important to me as this reminds me that without Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore would not have become the developed city that it is now with, clear blue sky, clean fresh air, strategic road placement, civic orderliness, a home for people(HDB) and great hawker food.
-Joey

Remembering LKY: Edmund

He drew the picture out of the inspiration he got from the qualities that Mr Lee Kuan Yew showed, in this case the dedication and perseverance he had to doing something inspired him to draw the picture.

Remembering Mr LKY

Whatever we do, we need perseverance and dedication to complete it. Without Lee Kuan Yew's perseverance and dedication, we would not have such a nice Singapore

Remembering LKY- Danish

Why I chose this? Well, without Mr Lee, Modern Singapore would not be here now, and our country will not be as safe as it is now. Mr Lee also dedicated his whole life in building Singapore into a really modern country. Mr Lee doesn't just leave us, he shaped us, as the foundation is really important for us.

Rationale Of The New Seating Plan

Dear Classmates
There had been a outrage of comments on Social Media, Facebook, about the new seating plan. If you are not comfortable with where you sit, you just have to adapt. Ms Teo on the other hand had already informed our EXCO community that she would not tolerate any other request to change seats. As all of you know that in life not all decisions go with you in the way you want it. Hence, I urge all of you to adapt to your sitting arrangement. I also want to make this clear to all of you that this sitting plan was arranged by Ms Teo, not any of the EXCOs. Do not put the blame on the EXCOs for this issue as Ms Teo arranged it. We are merely posting the updated seating arrangement. There is also no biaseness in the way Ms Teo puts you with because it is for your own good. This new seating plan is to benefit all in studying not talking.

Please do not blame any of the EXCOs for the new Seating Plan, we are merely carrying out Ms Teo's Plan.

Posted on behalf of the whole S2-03 EXCO.

Best Regards
S2-03 EXCO.
